Common Questions

A few things people usually ask.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes — we're always happy to welcome new pets. New-patient exams run a little longer so we have time to go over full history, so book that first slot a bit early on the schedule.
Do you accept pet insurance?
We don't bill insurance directly, but we provide an itemized receipt you can submit to most major providers for reimbursement. Payment is due at time of service — we accept all major cards plus most pet-specific financing options.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Any prior medical records if you have them, a list of current medications, and — if your pet's anxious in new spaces — their favorite treats or a familiar blanket. Everything else, we'll walk you through when you arrive.
My pet gets really anxious at the vet. Can you help with that?
This is a big part of why Brightpaw exists. We use calm-handling techniques, take breaks when needed, and never force a procedure through fear. Mention it when you book and we'll build extra time into the visit.
